Interlay awarded the "Fire and Emergency Rescue Engineering Laboratory"

On August 8, 2018, the awarding ceremony of the "Fire and Emergency Rescue Engineering Laboratory" jointly built by Beijing Interlay Technology Co., Ltd. was held at the Shanghai Fire Protection Institute. This is the first national engineering laboratory approved by Interlay as a co construction unit, and has made new breakthroughs in the construction of technology innovation platforms.

The National Engineering Laboratory for Fire Protection and Emergency Rescue is the only national engineering laboratory in the fire protection industry. Its construction will help comprehensively enhance China's independent innovation ability and core competitiveness in the field of fire protection and emergency rescue. The construction of this laboratory is divided into two parts: fire safety and fire extinguishing and emergency rescue. Beijing Interlay Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the joint construction of the firefighting and emergency rescue section. This part mainly constructs research and development platforms such as firefighting equipment, emergency rescue equipment, firefighting robots and special equipment, safety protection equipment, firefighting and rescue simulation training, as well as related experimental verification systems.

On August 24th, the second meeting of the first session of the National Engineering Laboratory Council for Fire Protection and Emergency Rescue was held in Shenyang, Liaoning. The main purpose of this meeting was to further clarify the development positioning of the laboratory in the new historical period, summarize the achievements of laboratory construction, and systematically plan and study the key work in the next stage. The Chief Engineer of the Fire Department of the Emergency Management Department, Zhou Tian, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. At the same time, he also issued an appointment letter to all members of the council, and Liu Xuefeng, the General Manager of Interlay Technology Co., Ltd., was appointed as a member of the Laboratory Council.

The "National Engineering Laboratory for Fire Protection and Emergency Rescue" is a scientific and technological innovation platform jointly declared by the Shenyang Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security as a legal entity in 2016, in collaboration with the Shanghai Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, and officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. At the same time, the laboratory also has 23 co construction units, including the Tianjin Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, the Sichuan Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, the Academy of the People's Armed Police, Tsinghua University, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. This laboratory is the only national engineering laboratory in the field of fire protection in China, supporting the development and engineering of technical equipment such as fire monitoring and warning, fire spread control, firefighting and emergency rescue disposal, disaster accident investigation, and intelligent fire protection.
